JANUARY 2022 – ONE-WAY SYSTEM AND UPDATED COVID-19 GUIDANCE FOR SCHOOLS

JANUARY 2022 – ONE-WAY SYSTEM AND UPDATED COVID-19 GUIDANCE FOR SCHOOLS

Polite Noticeplease follow the advice below.
1. If your child shows any signs or symptoms including a cough, high temperature, loss of taste and smell, please do not send your

child to school and arrange a PCR Test.

2. Please adhere to our oneway system around school.

3. Please wear a face covering when talking to a member of staff.

This is the latest guidance from Wakefield Council for selfisolating (please see below guidance on selfisolating Omicron variant):

Where a pupil is a household contact (i.e. someone who he/she lives with is positive), he/she should remain at home for 3 to 5 days,
taking a PCR test on day 5. He/she should only return to school if the test is negative. The child must stay at home and arrange another
test if he/she later develops symptoms.

I will continue to update you in line with National Guidance.
